Very nice place. The Moule Frites was delicious.

I love this cozy spot. Probably the best french fries in the entire city, if I'm being totally honest. The ketchup and mayo that they server with it are fantastic.

This is a cozy Bistro with a friendly staff and enjoyable food, with an emphasis on Crepes. I loved their onion soup, their pommes frites, and I'd choose the crepes, of course! My wife loved her crepes Suzette, and my crepes moulin rouge (pictured) were simple but delicious. We plan to go back soon!

You won't go wrong adding this wonderful restaurant to your list. The atmosphere was purposeful. There was no loud music and the setting was intimate such that you can hear your dining companion clearly. We stayed late and they put some light jazz on to end the evening. The food was amazing! I had the Lobster French Toast and my partner had the Salmon. The cocktails were tasty and strong! I highly recommend this establishment and I certainly be back. Oh, capped the meal with a crepe Suzette 🙏🏿🔥

Comfy and cozy place. If good background music is what you looking for, what's better than romantic French compositions? And service as the base of any successful evening doesn't fall a bit from absolute perfection. Last but not least, tasty and flavorful cuisine, harmoniously complemented with red wine, which won't let you to stand from coming back. Bon appetit.

Great place for breakfast. Nice crepes and omelettes, that are rather light despite the ingredients. Try the Ratatouile! They have a good line of dessert crepes as well.

So cute it had the best food ever the crepes savory or sweet. Such a charming place easy to find.

Had a Benedict, french toast and 2 drinks. Everything was great! French toast had a delightful outer texture, chewy but with a little crispness and moist on the inside, toppings great too. Lox Benedict was the star of the show, everything well balanced and some really good (like really good) hollandaise. Drinks were tasty, if a little pricey. A little cramped in here but a great place to go for a small party of 4 or less in a nice part of Georgetown

Delicious food, quaint decor, however tiny. We had a nice Ukrainian server. (At least, that's where she said she was from.) Based on one (the first) visit, I'd recommend it.

Love the crepes, especially the Ratatouille and the desserts (They rock!)I had an issue with my first entree and they exchanged it without question.

Nice food and great burger. The servers are kind maybe try to oversell you a bit too much. Either way go there if you are in the area, you won't be disappointed. Nice decor as well. Keep it up!

CLOSED- so sad to hear....My favorite little cafe in Washington, D.C. Lovely, rich lattes with an added sugar cookie treat to enjoy with it! Fresh salads, burgers done the way you like. I especially love their apple brie appetizers. Every piece of cheese I've had from here is of the highest calibre. Savory and sweet dessert crepes are well worth the try - the problem will be trying to choose! It is a quaint, tiny cafe, with around 15 tables and individual seating at the bar, in a classically old Washington turn of the century building. They care about their food prep and presentation, and it shows. Food here is built on taste, not on volume. Every bite is enjoyable. Looking forward to returning.

Cafe Bonaparte is an ode to the classic French bistros scattered all throughout France. The small quarters are evident of this. A fantastic brunch location but get there much earlier then you intend to avoid a long wait. Omelette and crepe dishes are prepared in French-fashion with quality ingredients. Care is taken to make their espresso drinks and are a delightful accompaniment to the entree. Be prepared to have a short stay, unlike any restaurant in Europe, though the brief experience is worth it.

This is a lovely place to grab a bite, people watch, and meet up with friends. The lunch special is decently priced for Georgetown. I ordered French onion soup and avocado toast, and both were very good. We sat at the bar and received prompt and friendly service. It's a little small so things get crowded pretty easily, but it didn't deter from the experience for me.

I was already looking forward to returning to Cafe Bonaparte after sitting down at the "bar" and perusing the surprisingly varied menu. Thankfully the food didn't disappoint! This small cafe has an unmistakable charm and list of crepes that is sure to please everyone. While the portions are fairly small compared to most brunch spots, it just means you can try a savory and a sweet dish. The potatoes (home fries?) were delicious - I wish you could simply order a side of them as they would really complement a sweet crepe. As Bonaparte is located right in Georgetown, parking is at a premium and there is no metro stop nearby. Try nearby streets like 33rd - especially on a sunday when zones don't apply.

The service was amazing. Our girl was on top of her game. The burger was good, but our server was better.

Nice little cafe. Though tables are small & close is handicap accessible. One day I chatted with another customer in a wheelchair who told me she liked coming as they are helpful & accommodating.

The French onion soup was magnificent. The best I’ve ever had. I was also floored at how good the shrimp crepe was. They literally sautéed them, added some cheese and garnished with salad. This places deserves nothing less than 5 stars. Oh and the waitresses were very nice as well. All around great experience

Really cool French bistro in Georgetown. It is small, and popular. Make sure you make reservations. The food is fantastic. The savory crepes are outstanding, and the steak is too. The sweet crepes and desserts are fantastic. Top class place.

I don't think the taste is good, but a long line was there, not sure why.

This place is very nice inside. Staff is very friendly and nice. Breakfast items that I ordered were both delicious and presented beautifully! Coffee was great as well! Defiantly I your in the area stop by and check it out.

Outstanding niche cafe in Georgetown. Crepes were out of this world, as were the cappuccinos and brunch selection.

A great escape from DC can be found here. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. If you are looking for your perfect French cafe, this is the place. I came in around 3:45 and the restaurant serves their Lunch Special till 4p.m. I had made it in time, the special is $12 and you can have a choice of two: half sandwich, half soup or half salad. I chose the Elba sandwich and the French onion soup. Excellent combination and very tasty. I ordered an espresso, the price was on the higher side than most prices in the DC area. The seating next to the window is a treat, good for people watching. Staff was friendly and helpful. I cam here on a separate day for a cafe latte and was not impressed with the latte. The latte foam was more of hot liquid milk. Not very foamy which is what I prefer for my latte.
